Why I Created This Manual
Throughout my 23 years as a licensed esthetician, my focus has always been on understanding each client’s concerns, what they hope to achieve, and how I can best guide them toward healthier skin and better results.
Early in my career, I began noticing patterns in the skin and recognizing how much information could be uncovered through a thorough skin analysis, detailed consultation, and the questions asked throughout a treatment. The more I continued my own education and worked hands-on with clients, the more I learned to look beyond what was immediately visible and consider the many factors that could be influencing their skin.
That experience shaped the approach I use today and much of what I share throughout this manual. Acne care isn’t simply about choosing products or following a treatment protocol. It’s about learning how to evaluate the skin more thoughtfully, ask better questions, recognize patterns, educate your clients, and make informed professional recommendations based on what that individual client actually needs.
I created this manual to share the knowledge and experience I’ve developed throughout my career and help you enhance your acne education, strengthen your professional judgment, and become a more knowledgeable and trusted resource for the clients you serve.
